Three King George VI and Queen Elizabeth 1937 Coronation Medals, with a Collection of Early to Mid-20th Century Commemorative Buttons - A collection featuring three King George VI and Queen Elizabeth 1937 Coronation medals. The medals are suspended from red, white, and blue ribbons, with the inscriptions 'TO COMMEMORATE THE CORONATION OF KING GEORGE VI AND QUEEN ELIZABETH IN WESTMINSTER ABBEY 1937' and 'KING GEORGE VI CORONATION AND QUEEN ELIZABETH MAY 12 1937'. With these are a group of early to mid-20th century metal buttons. These include gold-toned examples with anchors and royal crests (featuring lions and crowns), silver-toned buttons marked 'ARP' and 'KING EDWARD VIII', and a row of small uniform buttons marked 'SWEET ORR'. A single military ribbon bar with red, blue, and yellow/orange stripes is also present.
