A Group of Four World War I British Medals - A group of four World War I British campaign medals awarded to J. Webster of the Royal Navy. The medals are 1. A 1914-15 Star, bronze-toned, four-pointed star with a crown surmounting crossed swords, suspended from its original red, white, and blue ribbon.   2. A British War Medal, circular, silver-toned, depicting a profile bust of King George V with the Latin inscription ”GEORGIVS V BRITT: OMN: REX ET IND: IMP:”. It is suspended from its original blue, orange, and black striped ribbon.  3. A British War Medal, circular, silver-toned, depicting a profile bust of King George V with the Latin inscription ”GEORGIVS V BRITT: OMN: REX ET IND: IMP:”. It is suspended from a red, white, and blue striped ribbon.  4. A WWI Victory Medal, circular, gilded, bearing a winged allegorical figure (Victory) on its obverse, suspended from its distinctive rainbow-patterned ribbon. All medals were given to a  J.25123.J.Webster. P.O.H.M.S.ORMONDE.
