The 1939-1945 Star, a six-pointed bronze star inscribed with the cypher ”GRI VI” (Georgius Rex Imperator VI) and ”THE 1939-1945 STAR.” The Atlantic Star is also a six-pointed bronze star, similarly bearing ”GRI VI” and ”THE ATLANTIC STAR.” The third item is The War Medal 1939-1945, a circular silver-coloured medal marked ”1939 1945” above a depiction of a lion standing on a fallen eagle-like bird, with ”LICP” visible on the left, and is suspended from a metal bar. Each medal retains remnants of its original fabric ribbon.
