Bidspirit auction | Two Royal Doulton hand-painted bone

Two Royal Doulton hand-painted bone china figurines. The first figurine, titled Amy (HN 3316), was issued as the Figure of the Year for 1991. It is modeled in a Victorian-style aesthetic, featuring a figure in a voluminous blue and red gown with a white shawl collar, holding a floral fan. The underside bears the Royal Doulton backstamp, identifying the modeler as Peter Gee and noting it as a special edition available only during 1991. The second figurine, titled Dinky Do (HN 2120), depicts a young girl in a ruffled pink and yellow dress with a deep red bodice and a white bonnet. The underside includes the Royal Doulton backstamp with a 1953 copyright date for Royal Doulton Tableware Ltd. Both pieces are constructed of glazed bone china with hand-decorated details.
