Set of antique Victorian Renaissance Revival carved walnut dining chairs, featuring highly ornate crest rails, pierced and carved backs, and original embossed leather seats with nailhead trim. The chairs stand on dramatic figural cabriole legs carved with mythological or griffin-style forms, giving them a strong theatrical and architectural presence. Late 19th century (circa 1880–1900), likely American or European, with rich hand-carved detail throughout. Measures: 45” tall, 20” seat height, seats are 15” deep and 17” wide, back of chair 17” wide, some showing some signs of use and age, overall good condition for this Victorian era set. All you need is the massive table to put these chairs around!
