Frans Brandsen, children's Flags - Frans Brandsen (1955-) Children's Flags. Frans Brandsen created this work to commemorate May 5, 2025, the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands. It has been exhibited at various locations in Oosterbeek. Brandsen found inspiration for this work in a letter from his aunt Dolly van Kalleveen, describing her harrowing experience in September 1944. Panel 70x110 cm, external dimensions 90x130 cm.
