Silver necklace with garnet decoration, probably Nepal / Tibet, mid-20th century - Product Description: Comment: Silver necklace with garnet accents, presumably from Nepal/Tibet, mid-20th century. Silver, partially gilt (verified), garnets (faceted and cabochon). Necklace length approx. 42 cm, weight approx. 57 g. The intricately crafted, mandala-shaped pendant is richly set with reddish, sparkling garnets, partly in teardrop form and partly as small round cabochons. The ornamental relief work in the center features typical motifs of the Himalaya region. The reverse side is smooth. Small silver maker's marks can be seen on the bail. Provenance: Presumably Nepal or Tibet, traditional handcrafted, mid-20th century. Condition: Good, authentic state of preservation with age-related patina and minor signs of wear.
