A CANAANITE POTTERY JAR MADE AFTER AN EGYPTIAN PRE-DYNASTIC, NAQADA II PROTOTYPE - Early Bronze Age, ca. 3100 BCE. Squat globular in shape, with two pierced handles and brown painted decoration consisting of net pattern. On the front and the back are applied horns and tail (serpent?). On the rim are 4 holes, probably to hold a cover. In very good condition and very rare. 13.5 cm in diameter, 10 cm high.
