An Early Roman Bronze Oil Lamp with Three Nozzles. - 1st - 2nd century CE. 23.7 cm in diam. Originally manufactured to be hanged from a stand or the ceiling. The three hanging loops are in the form of duck heads, and masks of Sylenus are placed between each two nozzles. The bottom of each nozzle is in the form of a seashell and the mask of Medusa appears on the bottom. With nice black patina and in very good condition
