grote maquette boot in hout - ”THE VICTORY” - L: 120 cm H: 100 cm HMS Victory is a three-decker, three-masted, square-rigged British ship of the line. She is best known as Admiral Nelson's ship at the Battle of Trafalgar (Second Admiral of the Naval Staff, Commander-in-Chief of the Admiralty). She enjoyed a succession of victories at the head of the British fleet between 1778 and 1812. Launched in 1765 and now preserved in dry dock, she is the oldest intact warship in the world.
