M.J. Hummel Goebel 1981 Annual Plate, Child with Umbrella, West Germany - An M.J. Hummel Goebel 1981 Annual Collector's Plate, crafted from hand-painted porcelain in West Germany. The plate features a bas-relief depiction of a child with an umbrella, executed in a sentimental, childlike figurative style characteristic of Hummel designs. It is marked ”1981” on both the front and reverse. The reverse also bears the markings ”NOT FOR FOOD, ” ”W. GOEBEL PORZELLANFABRIK, ” ”Hum 274,” and a 1973 Goebel copyright. A braided string hanger is present on the back. This lot includes a cardboard presentation box, which is distinctly for the ”1982” M.J.
