A Sadler China Man Figural Ceramic Tea Caddy - A vintage ceramic tea caddy manufactured by Sadler, England, featuring the China Man design. The vessel is modelled as a seated figure in traditional Chinese dress, finished in a monochromatic olive-green glaze. The figure is depicted holding a folding fan and two spherical objects. The base is encircled by an embossed Greek key motif and Chinese characters. The piece is accompanied by a matching lid which completes the upper portion of the figure. The underside bears the embossed marks SADLER, REGISTERED DESIGN No 971334, and MADE IN ENGLAND, with an additional stamped R.
