A Maltese Mdina Style Pulled Ear Sand and Sea Art Glass Vase - A hand-blown decorative glass vase in the style of Mdina Glass, Malta, catalogue reference 24. The piece is executed in the sommerso technique with a deep cobalt blue core encased in thick clear glass. The interior is decorated with swirling yellowish-green inclusions, a colourway characteristic of the Sand and Sea pattern. The vessel features a bulbous, flattened body with two pulled ear handles to the shoulders. It has a short neck with a wide, flared rim and stands on a heavy, integrated clear glass base with a polished underside. Height: 11.5 cm.
