An Art Glass Sea Urchin Paperweight by Mdina - An art glass paperweight in the Sea Urchin pattern, attributed to Mdina Glass, Malta. The spherical piece features a central core of cobalt blue and turquoise-teal glass, overlaid with a complex, web-like motif of trailed bright yellow glass and numerous controlled seed bubbles. The decorative core is encased within a thick, clear glass casing. The design is highly characteristic of the studio glass produced in Malta during the late 20th century. Diameter: Approximately 8cm - 10cm.
