A Collection of Prints and an Oil Painting including Fred Morgan, Gerry Baptist, and George Turner - A collection of prints and one original oil painting, primarily dating from the twentieth century. The group includes a large offset lithographic reproduction of a Pears Soap advertisement after Fred Morgan, depicting two children and a dog, framed in a dark wood frame with a gilt inner slip. There is an unframed Rowntree's Elect Cocoa promotional board showing a couple in winter attire skating. The collection features a nineteenth-century map titled Letts's Popular Atlas Railway & Statistical Map of England & Wales, which appears to be a steel engraving or lithograph. Contemporary works include a vibrant giclée or digital print by Gerry Baptist titled Le Chateau, signed by the artist on the mount, and a print after George Turner titled River Meadows. Also included is a monochrome print titled Bournemouth Coast and a dark, impasto oil painting on board depicting a stormy coastal scene with cliffs and turbulent water. The items are housed in a variety of frames including gilt, dark wood, and modern black styles. Several pieces bear small white auction lot stickers numbered 1722.
