A Collection of Royal Worcester Evesham Gold Porcelain Oven-to-Table Ware - A comprehensive collection of Royal Worcester porcelain in the Evesham Gold pattern. This oven-to-table ware features lithographic transfer-printed fruit and vegetable motifs, including peaches, plums, pears, blackberries, cherries, and asparagus, all finished with hand-applied gold-gilt rims. The set comprises a variety of forms: Several lidded serving tureens, including oval and round examples of varying sizes, one featuring an asparagus motif to the lid. Serving pieces including a large rectangular platter, a large fluted serving bowl, a deep circular bowl, a medium circular bowl, and a two-sectioned kidney-shaped tray. Tea and coffee wares consisting of several graduated jugs, a mug, and a two-handled soup cup. A group of dinner or luncheon plates. Individual and small serving pieces, including ramekins, small dessert dishes, and a mustard or preserve pot fitted with a chrome-plated lid. Included with the set is a circular cork-backed table mat by Portmeirion. The porcelain pieces bear a black printed backstamp to the base, featuring the Royal Worcester crest (a crown over four 'W's) within a circular logo. The marks include the text MADE IN ENGLAND, ROYAL WORCESTER, FINE PORCELAIN, and OVEN TO TABLE WARE. The table mat bears a white adhesive label on the cork backing marked PORTMEIRION and made in New Zealand.
