Push Plate , Hand Sculpture, Aluminium? - A cast aluminium relief plaque , featuring the negative impression of a hand and wrist. The sculpture is rendered in a raw, industrial manner with a matte grey patina. The surface exhibits extensive pitting and small voids or blowholes, which are inherent to the sand casting process. The plaque is rectangular with four pre-drilled circular holes at the corners for mounting. The reverse displays horizontal grinding and machining marks from the manufacturing process. There are no visible signatures, foundry marks, or edition numbers. Length: 24.1 cm Width: 12.7 cm.
