A Pair of 1952 Royal Air Force Sealsfast Ltd Security Seal Punches with Original Boxes - A pair of mid-20th-century security seal crimping tools, manufactured by Sealsfast Ltd for the Royal Air Force. Each tool is constructed from polished steel with a lever-action mechanism, designed to compress tamper-evident seals for pilferage detection. The bodies are clearly stamped with Sealsfast Ltd in an arc, the date 1952, a British Broad Arrow mark, and the stores reference 1B/4538. The handles are fitted with brown leather retaining loops to hold them in a closed position. The tools are accompanied by their original cardboard issue boxes. These boxes feature printed labels identifying the items as 1 Punch, Seal with an A.M. Stores Ref. No. 1B/, indicating Air Ministry issue. The labels include the manufacturer address at 39 St. James's Place, London, S.W.1 and a contract number reference.
