Large Cast Iron Lawn Jockey On Pedestal
*NO SHIPPING - PICKUP OR THIRD PARTY TRANSPORT ONLY* There are lawn jockeys and then there are lawn jockeys. This is a restored cast iron jockey mounted on a bolt down metal pedestal which has been beautifully repainted and signed on the base by known artist Paul Meyer. The jockey colors are from the stables of a well known Chicago area racing family where the jockey resided. He originally held a small riding whip in the hand of his outstretched left arm which is missing (the whip not his arm). In overall VG condition. Overall measures 47" tall. The platform measures 16" X 16" X 7.5" tall. The statue measures 39.5" tall. Very heavy. No shipping on this item. Customer pickup or 3rd party transport only.
