This carving dates to the 1900-1915 period and was most likely done by Charles Carmel for Looff. In overall very good condition with an older restoration. The original glass eyes are intact, no obvious chips or repairs save for 2 strap iron braces on the back of the tail near the floor. Batwing seat. This may be the finest example of this figure in existence. Measures an impressive 70”tall and 78”long.
