This magnificent Orchestrion in its quarter sawn oak ”art case” has its original finish and decal with the usual scrapes and abrasions as well as some minor damage mainly at the bottom (at the toes). There are 2 small wooden trim pieces missing from the cabinet doors, one from the top and one from the bottom, as well as 3 small mitered corners on 2 of the stained glass cabinet doors. It is also missing the upper access panel at the rear of the piano. Cabinet with its beautiful art glass features the classic 3 dimensional torch design as well as 2 panels with bucolic scenes. All four of these panels have some form of minor damage here and there, cracks here and there, and the most significant of which is a small piece of glass missing from one of the center panels. See photos for further detail. Has its original key tops which are lightly stained with a few chips here and there but in otherwise good condition. See photos. This Orchestrion has evidence of an older restoration and is in playing condition. Has its original coin mech and it takes a 5 cent coin. The instrumentation of this Orchestrion features the following - piano, mandolin, flute pipes, violin pipes, bass drum with tympani effect, snare drum, cymbal, and triangle. It also has its original motor, pump and roll frame all of which are in good condition with evidence of an older restoration. Also included are 11 G rolls, nine of which are re-cuts and 2 originals. Cabinet measures 6'-7-1/2” H X 5'-10-1/2” W X 2'-4-1/2” D. This Orchestrion would be a prime addition to any collection. Weighs approximately 1200 pounds.
