1907 Advertising Calendar Marysville Montana - An original calendar from 1907 from J.A. Shaffer General Merchant Marysville, Montana. records show that James Shaffer ran the mercantile starting in the late 1880's in Marysville. Marysville was a gold mining town with a population of over 3,000. Today it is a ghost town. Shaffer's Mercantile building still stands and is abandoned (see pics). The calendar is framed under glass and is in excellent original condition. The color lithograph depicts a pretty young girl in a fine dress and hat looking out from a railing of a steamship and is titled, ”The Bride”. All individual month pages are intact. The calendar measures 14.5” tall, 8.5” wide. The frame measures 19.5” tall, 13.5” wide.
