RARE WWII Japanese LMG Canvas Sling - A rare steel buckle variation of the Japanese Light Machine Gun canvas sling with canvass keepers. Unlike the “bailing wire” style quick disconnect, this sling features the heavier steel buckle quick disconnect with a spring closing latch. The canvas is in good condition, showing some fraying on the edges from use. There is minor staining on the canvas, and all stitching is intact and solid. The metal parts show light oxidation but exhibit some of the factory finish. These slings are hard to find and are an excellent accessory to any collection of Arisaka Rifles.
