Description:
The cabinet is made of quarter sawn oak, professionally refinished in a satin, semi gloss finish. All iron hardware has been copper flashed. The cabinet sits upon ornate Caille Bros. legs. The inside has been restored to the same extent. The original spring wound motor intact. Light to the cards powered by 110V. The marquee card advertising "World War I" is a replacement. Measures 49” tall w/o marquee, add 23”, 22” wide, 19”deep.Circa 1940’s cast aluminum carousel horse most likely from a San Antonio Roller Works or a Mangles carousel. All we know is that it came off of a carousel that was parted out in southern Illinois in the 1970’s. The horse is a jumper with very nice paint. Comes mounted on a pole and a steel diamond plate base. Comes with a pair of stirrups but no straps or bridle.
