WWII Used Japanese Type 90 Helmet Siamese Army - This Type 90 helmet is in good condition with some surface pitting. Was repainted over the pitted surface at some point. After WW2, the Thailand Siamese Army reused Japanese helmets, which explains the discoloration being the same shape as a Thailand Siamese Army Insignia. Brass interior fittings present, but some bent and broken. Leather chinstrap present, but dry and brittle. No dents in helmet. Marked with the embossed Japanese kanji characters meaning “large.” This is a stick figure with outstretched arms. Also marked with an “S” in a diamond shape embossed next to size stamp. This is the symbol for the Kobe Seiko (steel) arsenal. Dimensions: 10.25” x 9”x6”. Please see photos.
