WWII German Fireman's (Feuerschutz) Dress Bayonet - Original German WWII Fireman's (Feuerschutz) Dress Bayonet Long Model (E. Pack & Sohne, Solingen ) With Frog. Nickel plated hilt and cross guard with up-and-down quillon design. Black checkered grip plates are in excellent condition, secured with aluminum rivets dressed on the obverse. Scabbard is straight and retains much of its original black painted finish. Shows wear commensurate with age. Blade with traditional wide fuller construction, has a bright nickel-plated finish in excellent condition. Original leather buffer intact. Black leather frog is in very good condition with wear at the frog stud hole and on the belt loop area. It is complete and in very good condition. Blade: 9.75” long. Bayonet 14.5”long overall.
