Swiss Army M57 Bayonet & Scabbard - Vintage Swiss Army M57 bayonet. Originally issued with the S.I.G. 57 Military rifle to the Swiss soldiers. Manufactured in the 1950s and 1960s by both Wenger and Victorinox, the manufacturers of the famous Swiss Army knives. Comes with original scabbard. The 9.5? stainless steel double-edged blade is 9.25” long, blunted tip. Marked “V 237585” and makers mark on other side of Ricasso. Inspection marks on crossguard. The ribbed, molded 5? handle is in good condition. The metal tang has a spring release. It is 14.5” overall. Minor wear visible on plastic scabbard. Amazing quality forged by the best.
