Bidspirit auction | WII German 10.5cm Nr.83 Artillery

WII German 10.5cm Nr.83 Artillery Shell Basket (2 - Lot of 2 transit wicker baskets is complete with 6 shell canisters. One wicker basket has wooden brackets to hold the shell canisters in place and the other is missing the bracket. There is a bit of a debate about when these were made. It is our opinion, this is from the post WWII period and may be shared Swiss and or German production. Many of these baskets have been converted to home decor use in more recent times. Baskets are unmarked and canisters as well. Also included is 90mm US transit tube from 90mm M371 practice round.
