INERT WWI US MKI Practice Hand Grenade - INERT MK.I Practice Hand Grenade. To train soldiers with handling and throwing, this special grenade was produced. Cast iron, hollow with no functional parts. Interestingly, the distinct switch fuze lever is replicated, with a post war MK.II body design. Painted blue, typical of later color use for practice grenades. Dimensions: 4.25” x 2.25”. See photos.
