PH-555/GF & 556/GF Military Field Proj Screen - PH-555/GF & 556/GF Military Field Projection Screen & Case This vintage military field kit features a PH-555/GF & 556/GF Military Field Projection Screen housed in a heavy-duty LS-170A/PFP-1 olive drab transport chest. While the chest is marked for speaker components, the interior contains the collapsible tripod legs, crossbars, and a rolled white projection surface typical of a mobile cinema unit used for training films or troop entertainment. The era-correct technical manual and canvas webbing suggest a complete 1950s-era setup. The chest shows heavy field wear, scuffs, and some oxidation on the latches, while the interior components appear well-preserved with expected aging to the screen material and ropes.
