WWII PH-358-D Projection Screen and Manual - WWII US Army PH-358-D Projection Screen A superb example of WWII-era Signal Corps technology, this Model PH-358-D portable projection screen was manufactured by the Raven Screen Corp. in Philadelphia, as part of a 1943 contract. This set is remarkably complete, featuring the collapsible tripod stand, the retractable screen in its black metal housing, the original heavy-duty olive drab canvas transit bag, and even the corresponding Department of the Army Technical Manual TM 11-2329. From a collector's perspective, finding these with the original bag and documentation is a rarity. The unit shows signs of authentic field use; the canvas bag has expected fading and minor abrasions, the metal components have light surface wear, and the manual shows age-related toning.
