Vintage Milk Glass ”Carter” Advertising Globe - The Carter Carburetor Company was an American manufacturer of carburetors, primarily for the automobile industry. It was established in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1909 and ceased operation in 1985. This is a milk glass light globe that would have been on a merchandise display in an auto parts store. Has the Carter logo silk screened on both sides. In VG condition with no cracks or repairs. Measures 8” in diameter, 4” deep, with a 4” fitter lip.
