Star Firestar M43 Semi-Auto Pistol 9mm 1956144 - Here is the 1991 “Hand Gun of The Year” from Guns & Ammo Magazine, the Spanish made Star Firestar M43. A compact, single action, 9mm semi-automatic pistol, it is considered the precursor to modern subcompact carry pistols. This particular pistol features a 3.5-inch barrel, two 7-round magazine, a three dot sight, and a frame-mounted ambidextrous safety. It measures only 6.5-inches in length and designed to be carried cocked and locked. The nickel Starvel finish, which provides a matte, stainless-like appearance, is in good condition, showing little wear. The rubber grips are in great condition, with no visible wear. Bore is clean and rifling is good. Mechanically, the action and trigger are tight and appear to function properly.
