Vintage Dr. Barkers Horse Liniment Thermometer - Piece of mid-century Americana advertising, a Dr. Barkers Horse Liniment Thermometer. Manufactured by Taylor Instrument Companies, this vertical metal thermometer features a classic recessed glass tube and bold cobalt blue, orange, and white enamel-style graphics. These large-scale thermometers were staples of hardware stores and liveries throughout the mid-20th century. The piece shows authentic character with scattered paint loss and oxidation, particularly along the edges and mounting holes. The glass tube remains intact and appears functional.
