Matthias Girmscheid Pottery Relief Stein - Lovely German Stein by Matthias Girmscheid 'Courting Couple' marked with a star, 1020 Germany 8 and the initials G.K. are etched to the left of the braided pottery handle. The pewter hinge strap jiggles a bit, otherwise in good condition with scuffs from use but no visible cracks. The lid has a small dent that doesn't distract from the craftsmanship. The script translates to: O beautiful time, O time of love Measures 15.5” to top of lid. Please use photos to judge condition.
