Swiss Qualite Excelsior 10 Tune Music Box with Bells (ca. 1890) - Swiss Qualite Excelsior Superextra 45 note cylinder music box playing 10 airs (tunes) on a single 16cm wide cylinder with 3 bee-striker saucer bells. Produced by Charles & J. Ullmann, Switzerland, Sainte-Croix, ca. 1890. Simple walnut cabinet without inlay. The walnut cabinet shows little wear, with just minor surface abrasions. The mechanics of the music box work well, and the tonal quality is very good. The mechanics show light oxidation and there is not a complete tune card. No keys, removed lock.
