Extremely Rare Original Wellershaus Organ Figure with Three Mechanical Movements - This extremely rare original antique Wellershaus organ figure, produced by the prestigious Gebr der Wellershaus workshop in M lheim an der Ruhr, Germany, is a masterwork of late 19th-century fairground craftsmanship. Hand-carved from seasoned linden wood and finished in traditional polychrome, these figures were often designed as conductors with complex internal mechanical movements that synchronized head and arm gestures with the organ's musical performance. Original examples are exceptionally scarce, as many were lost to the rigorous conditions of traveling carnivals or replaced during subsequent organ conversions.
