Lot of 2 Original Antique Demetz Organ Figures with Arm Movements - These two original antique organ figures from the renowned Demetz workshop are exceptional examples of Italian fairground artistry. Hand-carved from wood with, both figures feature a single arm movement designed to move in time with an organ's music, but the original movement mechanism is missing. The original paint work has been either entirely lost or stripped. The figures exhibit an overall good condition showing wear and cracking consistent with the age, but the arm on one of the figures has been damaged and shows small holes.
