'My life for the sake of freedom' - an anti-Semitic pocketbook. France, 1940s

Ma Vie pour la Liberte - 'My life for the sake of freedom' - an anti-Semitic pocketbook. France, 1940s.

A booklet of cartoons showing the war of the working class in France for freedom, where the capitalist Jew is shown as part of the war for freedom to be fought, and his freedom is at the expense of others. In one of the cartoons we see a funnel in the upper part of which all the French classes 'pour' and they are 'ground' to the money which the Jew collects in his bag on the other side. Another cartoon shows the front of the war, soldier's clothes, a rifle and a barbed wire fence, and the anti-Semitic caption directed at the Jew: "In brief, no worker has ever seen him at the front, but you have to be a Nazi to accuse him of that...".

On the back of the pamphlet was written the slogan: "Workers, open your eyes! All socialists in Europe are joining the fight against international capitalism."

[14] p. 11 cm. Very good condition.
