A collection of postcards issued during the Dreyfus affair, c. 1900


An interesting collection of 22 postcards with photographs and illustrations of the key figures in the Dreyfus Affair issued during the Affair. Various printers and printing places, late 19th and early 20th centuries.


In the collection, postcards accompanying the affair from beginning to end, some on behalf of Dreyfus's supporters and some on behalf of his opponents. Among, there are rare real photo postcards of Dreyfus himself - on the back of one of them the Dreyfus affair was written from beginning to end in handwritten form, postcards of Dreyfus against the background of the island of demons to which he was sent after the first sentence, postcards showing Emil Zola in a positive and negative light, postcards in which the other heroes of the affair are show: Ferdinand Esterhazi, Georges Picard, Laburi, Clemenco, and others.

22 postcards. Six of them were sent by mail, 15 undivided back. General condition good - very good.
