Six paper items related to to the Dutch Jewish philosopher Baruch Spinoza (1632-1677).
1. Spinoza engraving made by Charles Paul Landon (1760-1826), c. 1805. Size: 10x6 cm.
2-5. Four early postcards related to Spinoza, early 20th century: a Real Photo postcard of Spinoza's house in the village of Rijnsburg (South Holland); A statue in the form of Spinoza placed in the Spinoza Palace in Rijnsburg; Two colored postcards of Spinoza's statue in The Hague, with people photographed next to him (one was mailed in 1908, the other was mailed in 1922).
6. An early bookmark with an illustration of Spinoza, with his life story on the back.
