A collection of German patriotic song postcards of the Wehrmacht. Germany, circa 1930s - A collection of 25 postcards with photographs taken by the press photography service Horst-Frage, accompanied by German patriotic songs for Wehrmacht soldiers. Some of these were sung in official military parades. Published by Robert Frank, Hamburg, c. 1930s. Among the songs appearing on the postcards: a song of the night bomber pilots, Field Language, Soldier’s Heart, It Is So Wonderful to Be a Soldier, We Are the Pioneers, Evening on the Land, (The) Stuka over Africa, A Soldier Stands on the Banks of the Volga, Listen Mother, The Speedboat Song, Homeland, Homeland, The Paratroopers’ Song, and others. Unused. Overall very good condition.
