Stencil printing with illustrations. Sections of spring, redemption, and “Yizkor” in memory of those who perished in the Holocaust. The Haggadah opens with spring songs; later the section “A people that has kept vigil for thousands of years, ” the story “We were slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt, today you go forth in the month of spring, ” “Arise, wanderers of the desert, ” “Ha Lachma Anya”; thereafter a “Yizkor” section for those who perished in the Holocaust: “We shall remember the remnant of Israel that the Nazi inferno still left... we shall remember the myriads of our people in the Diaspora who were destroyed by human beasts, who were led in death cars to the abyss, who were imprisoned and tortured and died in detention camps; we shall remember the children of the House of Israel who were slaughtered in the enemy’s land without mercy. We shall remember our comrades, heroes of affliction, sanctifiers of the Name, in the ghettos, in the forests, in cellars and in the depths of the earth...” Thereafter “We went out to change the face of the world, ” “If our hand was too short to save those taken to death, ” “Blessed is the match that burned and kindled flames, ” songs for the end of the Haggadah, and more.
