Bonita encadernação inteira de pergaminho moderna; ricamente decorada a ouro nas pastas, lombada e seixas; corte das folhas cinzelado e dourado; muita acidez provocada pela tinta.

A very interesting manuscript with a complete treatise on architecture, whose author we have not been able to identify. The work contains the classic books for treatises of this kind at the time, in particular, six books on Geometry, Columns, Perspective, Mathematics, Fortification and Temples.

At the beginning of the volume we find the following inscription: 'This book was left by Pedro de Araújo, chief architect in Aveiro, upon his death to Mr. Ruy de Mello Cardoso, as Father Manuel de Carvalho says, and in truth I had this declaration drawn up on 23 March 1666', indicating that the manuscript was in the possession of an architect, Pedro de Araújo, from Aveiro.
