The edition of the Works of Pedro Nunes, by the Lisbon Academy of Sciences. Between the years 1940 and 1960 four volumes were published: vol. i: Treatise on Sphera & Astronomici introductorii de spaera epitome (1940); vol. ii: De crepusculis (1943); vol. iii: De erratis Orontii Finaei (1960); vol. iv (numbered vi): Libro de Algebra (1946). This edition was in charge of a committee of academics, among whom Joaquim de Carvalho stands out.
