This is the first study on the so-called Carpets of the Taking of Arzila, discovered by the author and by José de Figueiredo, then director of the National Museum of Ancient Art, in Pastrana, a Spanish town, and which depict the taking of a Muslim city by D. Afonso V. Dedication from the author. Rare and treasured.
