Large provincial map produced during the Portuguese Civil War (1832–33), drawn with relief hachures and dense place-name coverage. Shows the road network , main rivers (Minho, Lima, Cávado, Ave and the lower Douro with the “Barra do Porto”), mountain ranges and valleys, settlements and district seats; with compass rose and a scale of three leagues . Title printed in the lower-left quadrant: “ Carta / Provincia do Minho / Por A. B. P. / 1833. ” Complete example, preserved in its four printed quadrants .
