A⁶ = 666 leaves; single column in gothic (rotunda) type, c. 20–21 lines per page; without title-page; running rubrics “C De montibus urbis / De pontibus / De arcubus triumphalibus / De theatris / De templis / De capitolio / De Colosseo…”, ending “ecclesia fratrum minorum. Finis.” 135 mm tall. Later (19th/20th-cent.) morocco, tooled and decorated with a large painted episcopal coat-of-arms on both boards; red edges; old damp-staining, some toning and small marginal flaws; apparently complete. Medieval guide to Rome widely used by pilgrims, surveying the city’s topography, monuments and legends. The pocket, single-quire format, small rotunda type, lack of title-page and page make-up point to the late-Quattrocento Roman pamphlet tradition; on typographic grounds (rotunda forms, q; abbreviation, sequence of sections and line count) this copy appears consistent with the work of Stephan Plannck in Rome. The attribution is offered cautiously, without ruling out other contemporary Roman shops (e.g., Eucharius Silber or Johann Besicken) or a very early sixteenth-century issue.
