Critical edition of the medieval Castilian versions of the chronicle by the Arab historian Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Razi (889-955), known as «el Moro Rasis», who described the Iberian Peninsula in the tenth century. The medieval translation of this work, made at the request of Alfonso III of Portugal and preserved in Castilian and Portuguese versions, is a fundamental source for the study of pre-Arab Hispania and the early centuries of Islamic conquest.
