FIGUEIREDO (Manuel de). OBRAS Posthumas de Manoel de Figueiredo. Lisboa. 1804. - FIGUEIREDO (Manuel de) OBRAS Posthumas de Manoel de Figueiredo . Lisboa: Na Impressão Regia, 1804. retrato; [6], IV, 226 pp.; 185 mm. First volume of the author's posthumous works; the second volume would only be published six years later, in 1810. The volume boasts a beautiful frontispiece engraved with the author's portrait, drawn by Domingos António de Sequeira, then first painter of the Chamber and Court of the Prince Regent, and engraved with a burin by GF de Queiroz, in addition to vignettes engraved on plates based on drawings by the same painter, interspersed throughout the text. Highly regarded. ⚑ Auto-translated via Google Translate
